What a website actually costs

There's no single answer to “how much does a website cost” — an honest developer will never quote a price without learning about your business first. This page isn't a pitch, it's an explanation: what makes up the cost, why a landing page can't cost €50, and what factors actually move the price.

What makes up the price

01

Design built for your business, not a template

Every site is designed around your specific business — colors, structure, emphasis — not a generic marketplace template.

02

Copy that explains, not decorates

I write copy around your services and audience, not a generic “we're the best in town” description.

03

Technical build

Layout, mobile responsiveness, load speed, and correct behavior across every device and browser.

04

Google Business Profile

Setting up your Google Maps listing is separate work — and it often brings in more leads than the site itself.

05

Analytics

Wiring up analytics so you can see where leads actually come from, instead of guessing.

06

Basic SEO

A search-friendly structure: titles, meta descriptions, load speed — so the site can actually rank on Google.

Why a landing page starts at €300

A landing page isn't “one page in an evening.” The price covers: a brief and competitor review, design built for your brand, copywriting, layout and mobile responsiveness, Google Business Profile setup, analytics, basic SEO, and one round of revisions. Each of these steps takes real time — usually 2-3 weeks from brief to launch. A lower price wouldn't reflect the actual scope of work — one of these steps would simply get dropped.

What affects the cost

  • Number of pages

A single landing page versus a multi-page site with a dedicated page per service is the main cost driver.

  • Structural complexity

A product catalog, booking forms for several services, a customer account — all of this adds development time.

  • How ready your content is

If you already have photos and copy, it's cheaper and faster. If everything needs to be written and sourced from scratch, it takes longer.

  • Integrations

Online payments, a CRM, booking systems — each integration adds separate work.

  • Timeline

Standard timelines are baked into the base price. A rush launch in a few days costs more.
